Florence Phyllis Maltese, 88, of Branchville, formerly of Elmwood Park, died on July 20, 2009.
Born in Clifton, Mrs. Maltese had lived in Elmwood PArk for most of her life before moving to Branchville eight years ago. Prior to retiring, she had been employed through the State of New Jersey as an Administrator with the Unemployment Office in Passaic.
Mrs. Maltese was predeceased by her husband, James.
She is survived by her daughter: Genevieve Gawalis and her husband, Jack, of Succasunna and Jacqueline Schneider of Kearny; and by her four grandchildren: Lisa and Joe Gawalis and James and Steve Schneider.
Service Information:
Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 am at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitng Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9.
